VANS And IRON MAIDEN 'The Number Of The Beast' Classic Shoes Available Now For Holidays - Nov. 1, 2012
Vans and IRON MAIDEN are excited to give metal fans the chance to grab an instant classic with the Vans x Iron Maiden The Number Of The Beast Classic Slip-On and Sk8-Hi. Each shoe comes emblazoned with the iconic Eddie cover art from the album and an embroidered IRON MAIDEN logo on the heel.

Among the most popular Vans band collaborations to date, Vans and IRON MAIDEN have previously created four other projects saluting other essential MAIDEN albums: "Killers" (2007), "Piece Of Mind" (2007), "Powerslave" (2008) and "Trooper" (2008).

You can buy or find out more about these special kicks and where to find them at a dealer near you at vans.com/ironmaiden.

The third studio album from IRON MAIDEN, "The Number Of The Beast" was a seminal album for heavy metal and a pivotal point for the band, becoming their first record to reach the No. 1 spot on the U.K. albums charts and securing them a platinum record in the U.S. The album produced such hits as "Run To The Hills" and "The Number Of The Beast".

but, yeah this is Iron Maiden, Inc. Show BUSINESS as they say. But just as 'Arry is exercising his options in a free market, so can you/me. Don't buy 'em.

I remember my first IM concert. Alpine valley, WI. POM tour. Accept and Coney Hatch opened. I was hooked.

Up the Irons!!!!!!!!!!!

I think over the last 10 years bands that have any kind of cool band mascot/logo have gotten hip to what Gene n Paul have been doing for the better part of 40 years. Thats why they will never loose the make up again,it's an additional income onto itself. You never saw there faces plastered on anything other than T shirts in the none make up years.

they should have made the checkerboards and put sixes in all the centers or something like that. would have been much cooler and a little more wearable.

If someone told me at the end of the 80's that Maiden would sell shoes with their album-cover printed on them, I would be on the floor laughing.

But they look damn cool!

Maiden has always had t-shirts, posters, buttons, patches, and nobody ever said anything about that; but now they're "sellouts" because there are Maiden shoes??

Damn, some of you folks really can't think outside the box, can you?

Cool... but no poser should wear it. They should make sur the one buying them are real maiden fans like asking them a few pop quiz maiden trivia or make them sing or play or humm at least 10 maiden songs before selling it to them

I don't get it? How's a great album's cover printed on a pair of shoes "selling out"?

So a band making band t-shirts are sellouts as well?

Maiden cannot be compared to Kiss. These guys are just making shoes (which I think are pretty cool), Kiss made fucking condoms.
