Video: SYMPHONY X Bassist In The Studio With OPERATIKA ELEMENT - Oct. 16, 2012

New York/New Jersey-based symphonic power metallers OPERATIKA ELEMENT (formerly OPERATIKA) have just finished recording their new single — featuring special guest Mike LePond (SYMPHONY X) on bass — that will be released this fall. The band's new full-length album will be issued in 2013.

Two video clips featuring footage from the studio can be seen below. In the first video, the band is recording material for the upcoming CD. In the second clip, LePond is seen laying down bass tracks for the OPERATIKA ELEMENT single "Haunting In The Night" at Barber Shop Studios in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey.

Richard Fischer - Guitar, Vocals
Yuri Liakhovitch - Drums

OPERATIKA's debut album, "The Calling", was released in Europe in October 2008 through Scarlet Records.

Mike Lepond is a monster of a bass player, he is amazing to watch live, I will look forward to see what he does with this band. awesome.

Lepond is a very talented bassist with a wonderfully warm tone. I had the pleasure to meet and shake his hand once after an Atlanta show when he was just hanging out by the merch booth. Very cool and friendly guy.
