SOULFLY In Toulouse: Video Interview, Performance Footage - Oct. 10, 2012
Metal Sickness conducted an interview with SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera on September 30 at Metalfest at Le Bikini in Toulouse, France. You can now watch the chat below.

SOULFLY's eighth album, "Enslaved", sold 5,900 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 82 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, "Omen", opened with 6,000 units in June 2010 to land at No. 73.

"Enslaved" was released on March 13 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at TallCat Studios in Phoenix, Arizona and was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, the seasoned knob twiddler behind some of the most notable bands in metal today, such as SHADOWS FALL, HATEBREED, THE RED CHORD and more.

SOULFLY's current lineup features drummer David Kinkade (BORKNAGAR, ARSIS, MALEVOLENT CREATION), Max and guitar dynamo Marc Rizzo, with STATIC-X's Tony Campos taking up the bass.

I love Max and i don't want to sound like Dr. Phil here, but it looks like him really should drop off some weight. Too much pot and junk food... He even lose his ability to play guitar, come on' , all the work it's on the band, this dude seems seriously tired...

^^^ did those guys actually watch the performance footage? it sucks shit. max talks half of the vocals and does his usual guitar non-playing. he just seems super tired. i feel bad for the rest of the band because they're actually trying while their mainman just drags his ass.

I'm really excited to hear the project with Greg Puciato and Troy Sanders. An album with three of my favourite bands all together? deffinitely a buy!
