Guitarist/vocalist
Matt Heafy of Florida metallers
TRIVIUM will perform a short solo acoustic set on Thursday, November 1 at the 2112 restaurant — which is co-owned by two members of the Swedish metal band
IN FLAMES,
Peter Iwers (bass) and
Björn Gelotte (guitar) — in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Spaces for the performance are limited and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. If you want to attend show up early, get a reservation or listen to
Bandit radio for details on how to win a spot for the special event.
The performance itself is free but
Heafy is asking all those who do attend in lieu of tickets to consider donating to several charities selected and supported by 2112.
Heafy took part in a special one-night-only acoustic performance to benefit
MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation. The event was held on August 13 at The MOSCOT Gallery & Music Space in New York City.
Video footage of
Heafy's set can be seen below (courtesy of
Metal Injection).
In addition to playing a seven-song set,
Heafy took questions throughout the performance from the audience.
TRIVIUM is continuing to tour in support of its fifth studio album,
"In Waves", which came out a year ago.
