CONSTRUCDEAD To Support SOILWORK In Stockholm - Jan. 11, 2004
CONSTRUCDEAD, the Swedish band featuring TERROR 2000 drummer Erik Thyselius, will be supporting SOILWORK at their February 10 gig at Klubben in Stockholm. The show will mark the group's first live appearance in the city with singer Peter Tuthill, who replaced previous vocalist Daniel Regefelt in December 2002.

As previously reported, CONSTRUCDEAD will release their sophomore album, "Violadead", on March 22 through Sound Pollution Records.

The follow-up to 2002's "Repent" was recorded and mixed at Helsingborg's Queenstreet Recording with producer Richard Larsson and features a guest appearance by SOILWORK vocalist Björn "Speed" Strid and ex-SOILWORK drummer Henry Ranta in the track "Bitter End".

The track listing for "Violadead" (view cover here) is as follows:

01. Pinhook
02. Rise
03. Bricks
04. Hate
05. Wounded
06. Cancer
07. The Saviour
08. Disbelief
09. New Skin
10. Re-Arrange
11. Turn
12. Bitter End
13. Evil As I (demo version, Japanese bonus track)

A limited-edition digipack version of the album will feature as a special bonus a demo recording of the track "Inhuman Condition".

They've really carved out a niche for themselves in the melodic death scene. I was just listening to Figure Number Five, and loving it.

And those who say Soilwork "sold out" are obviously morons. A sell out band playing with a death/thrash band? Right. And Strid is in Terror2000, I think that makes it safe to say he could care less about the money, or what anyone else thinks for that matter.

Nothing on that record stood out at all for me. I actually preferred the bonus disc that came with it.

Rest of their catalog rocks pretty hard though.

You gotta listen to it a few times for it to really sink in. I didn't realize how good FN5 was until I had heard it 5 or 6 times.

Those morons you speak of are afraid of the concept of melody. That's why they can't handle new Soilwork and In Flames.
