VINCE NEIL Performs With MÖTLEY CRÜE Tribute Band In Toronto (Video) - Sep. 14, 2012

MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil joined the CRÜE tribute band CRÜED on stage last night (Thursday, September 13) at the Courthouse in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to perform two songs: "Smokin' In The Boys Room" and "Wild Side". The event served as Vince's official after-party following the KISS/MÖTLEY CRÜE show at the Molson Amphitheater In Toronto.

Commented CRÜED: "Last night was the shit, man! Vince Neil, broken foot and all, came on stage to perform two songs with CRÜED, and he said we rocked and we're a tribute who does it right and he had a great fucking time! The club was packed, the show was awesome!!! Thank you, gods of rock and roll!"

According to the band's official bio, CRÜED takes you to the look and sound of MÖTLEY CRÜE with backdrops and costumes straight from the albums and tours of "Saints Of Los Angeles", "Carnival Of Sin", "Dr. Feelgood" and "Theatre Of Pain".

These guys are a motley tribute band, and it doesn't look like it's possible for them to give any less of a fuck that Vince is on stage with them.

It almost seems kind of awkward. Almost like "is he gonna leave after this song?"

I think that is the best I've heard Vince sing in a long time. Not being able to run around helped his voice. He still sounded like shit, but less so than normal.

I have to give Motley Crue and Poison credit for one thing. After more than 30 years, they still have all original members. There isn't a Poison featuring CC Deville or a Motley Crue with just Nikki Sixx touring.

...but I have to admit I spent my whole life thinking Mick Mars was a shit guitarist and I was wrong. Same with Alex Lifeson. I thought those two could barely play, and while there shit isn't complicated, its always just what the song calls for. Thats how a pro does it.

...it would have been more fun to pick on Vince for being fat, lazy, stupid and talentless, etc., etc., etc., but there is plenty of time for that.

It could have been a long night after drinking all day or just a bad night, but the guitarist's timing is way off at times and barely holding on the entire time. Maybe he was starstruck or something. Hope that he's normally a lot better than that showing.

The idiot in the front that sings and points at them is entertaining.

Courthouse is an interesting venue to see a show in. It actually was a court building at one time and looks really cool. But it's got old stone walls and the sound in there is pretty bad because of that.
