LED ZEPPELIN Releases Live Audience YouTube Clip - Sep. 10, 2012
Industry sources are saying that a LED ZEPPELIN double-CD / double-DVD of their 2007 reunion show in London will be released in November. On Friday (September 7), the band posted "hello" on its Facebook page, followed on Saturday by "Five" in the band's classic font, followed on Sunday by "Four" and "Three" on Monday — leading some fans to believe that an official announcement is coming on Wednesday (September 12). In addition, a brief video has debuted on LED ZEPPELIN's YouTube channel that simply shows the four symbols featured on the group's fourth studio album, accompanied by the sound of an audience cheering.

With the entire rock world going insane with "ZEPPELIN" fever in the weeks and months following the reunion show, Robert Plant — who was the lone hold-out on any future ZEPPELIN gigs — was asked how he stayed calm with all the excitement centered around the band. "Well, I don't think anybody actually asked that question, to be perfectly frank — apart from the media. So, here I am, just doing what I do," he said.

Jason Bonham, the son of late ZEPPELIN drummer John Bonham, who was behind the kit for the performance at London's O2 Arena, told The Pulse Of Radio he's eager to own some sort of document of the event. "I know it probably was recorded. I mean, there was cameras there and everything, but I'm not too sure of what the process is there," he said. "Me, personally, I'd love to get a, y'know, a version of it that I could — you know, stay with me forever. It'll be there forever in my mind, but to get a chance to watch it back is sometimes only when you realize what you've done."

Back in 2008, Jimmy Page spoke about the O2 gig to Uncut, saying, "It was recorded, but we didn't go in with the express purpose of making a DVD to come out at Christmas, or whatever. We haven't seen the images or investigated the multi-tracks. It's feasible that it might come out at some distant point, but it'll be a massive job to embark on."

LED ZEPPELIN's set list on December 10, 2007 at London's O2 Arena:

01. Good Times, Bad Times
02. Ramble On
03. Black Dog
04. In My Time Of Dying

11 Stairway To Heaven
12. The Song Remains the Same

Encores:

15. Whole Lotta Love

Firstly, I have listened to the bootlegs of the show and they are not bad at all. Sure they downtuned but it sounds pretty damn good overall.

Nothing from In Through The Out Door was played. That's a shame.

Robert Plant is all class.

I can't think of a single thing Led Zep has ever done that was cringe worthy unlike pretty much every other band I can think of that was around as long as they were.

Aside from the Crunge - do they have any bad songs ? So.

...awesome.

Zep bad songs? I never cared for D'yer M'ker or Down by the Seaside. Apart from that, they're all good. I happen to like the Crunge.

down by the seaside? wow, always loved that one. D'yer Maker is one of my least favs, its just overplayed though. Fool in the Rain may be my least favorite, but its still a decent tune. The studio Rock n roll is pretty boring by now. (live its great).

Not a fan of live Zep. They usually butcher the tunes b/c they like to jam & reinterepret the songs so that they're almost unrecognizable. Page never plays the solo to Stairway like off Zep IV.

I still never could understand what Robert Plant's problem was that he didn't want to tour a little bit after this. I don't think any of them were talking like doing show after show after show around the world. But doing more like a 35 to 50 cities around the world and play a few dates at some of the stops. Do this over the course of a year or so and put Led to rest. But then he has no problem doing his own thing while filling his setlist with many Led songs.

As for Plant's voice, I don't think his voice could stand up to 35 to 50 dates as someone mentioned. Besides, let's face it, he can't sing like he did in the 70's or 80's for that matter. I think Plant knows that or else he would have done it. To his credit, he doesn't want to do the band's legacy injustice by giving $hitty performances every night.

As for the video release, I am sure it will be on DVD and Blu Ray if it is such a big project. However, a lot people already have a copy due to the bootleg releases on DVD. Some were actually quite good. I would prefer them to the polished stuff that comes out professionally. The boots are more raw and realistic.
