The CD landed at position No. 20 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"The Moment You Realize You're Going To Fall" was released on August 14 via Rocket Science Ventures/THC: Music.

"This is a really personal record for me," says Wes. "I spent three years writing it . . . and I am confident it's the best BLACK LIGHT BURNS record yet."

"Scream Hallelujah" audio stream (courtesy of AOL's Noisecreep):

BLACK LIGHT BURNS released its debut album, "Cruel Melody", in 2007 through I Am: Wolfpack, the record label headed by producer Ross Robinson (KORN, SLIPKNOT, SEPULTURA, SOULFLY, LIMP BIZKIT). The group's original recording lineup featured Danny Lohner (NINE INCH NAILS), Josh Eustis (PUSCIFER) and Josh Freese (WEEZER, A PERFECT CIRCLE, GUNS N' ROSES, DEVO). An LP/DVD of unreleased B-side material, "Cover Your Heart And The Anvil Pants Odyssey", followed in 2008. In 2009, after a yearlong stint playing guitar for MARILYN MANSON, Wes and BLACK LIGHT BURNS hit the road for an extended run with industrial powerhouse COMBICHRIST, and contributed the track "I Want You To" to the "Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans" soundtrack. BLACK LIGHT BURNS took a temporary hiatus while Borland stayed busy with the reformed LIMP BIZKIT, who embarked on an ongoing world tour supporting their recently released LP "Gold Cobra". In 2012, BLACK LIGHT BURNS returned, to the delight of fans, with the track "It Rapes All In Its Path" on the "Underworld: Awakening" soundtrack.

BLACK LIGHT BURNS 2012 touring lineup:

* Wes Borland: Vocals, Guitar
* Nick Annis: Guitar
* Dennis Sanders Jr.: Bass
* Joe Letz (COMBICHRIST): Drums

I was one of those 900! Here's what I got to say. The album definitely starts out slow. After 7 or 8 songs the album gets going. After listening through it a few more times it grew on me. I wouldn't call this a metal album. This cd is more experimental, underground, rave music combined. There's a lot of different elements throughout the album. I didn't like it as much as the first record, but after a while I think it is a little better.

Most of the time...if I have to get 7 or 8 songs into an album before it gets going.....I never find out...because I THROW IT INTO THE BACK SEAT. 7 or 8 songs?? REALLY?

It isn't what I was expecting/ hoping for, and it's no Cruel Melody, but that being said, it is one hell of an album. I wasn't too fond of it the first couple listens, but after a few times it's really started to grow on me. I think to appreciate it the most you have to listen to the album in full. There's not a lot songs on here that really pop out as individual favorites that you just wanna throw on right away when you pop the disc in your car, but like I said before, when you listen to it as an actual album is when you'll start to appreciate it's beauty.

But....shouldn't at least SOME of the songs pop out...or at least grab your attention? Isn't that what makes a truly great album? If that doesn't happen...well it's just a boring ass album.

First off, it's not Cruel Melody part 2 sorry folks. As great as that record was, there was always room to grow and that's whats happened here. We all know this guy cuts a check playing is Limp Bizkit, arguably one of the most awful bands ever but seriously, give this one a chance.

The record has a great vibe to it. Very DARK. You can hear it in the songs that Wes seems to have come into his own this time around. Each song has it's own hook and sound vastly different from that one before it. I'm giving it a solid 4.5/5

The first album was alright, especially the ambient tracks. This new one is awful, and Wes has managed to sound even worse than he did before vocally.
I'm not surprised by those numbers : that's what happens when you release shitty music.
