IN THIS MOMENT's 'Blood' Cracks U.S. Top 15 - Aug. 22, 2012
"Blood", the fourth album from Southern California's IN THIS MOMENT, sold around 20,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 15 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The band's previous CD, "A Star-Crossed Wasteland", opened with 10,500 units back in July 2010 to land at position No. 40.

The band's sophomore effort, "The Dream", registered a first-week tally of more than 8,000 copies back in October 2008 to land at No. 70.

Released on August 14 via Century Media Records, "Blood" was once again produced by Kevin Churko, who has previously worked with OZZY OSBOURNE and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, among others.

IN THIS MOMENT began work on the new album just a few months following the departures of drummer Jeff Fabb and guitarist Blake Bunzel, who left the band late last year in order to join the backing group of "American Idol" finalist James Durbin. Fabb and Bunzel have since been replaced by Tom Hane (THYATEIRA) and Randy Weitzel (FLATLINE, 3/13, AMERICAN MASSACRE), respectively.

"Blood" track listing:

01. Rise With Me
02. Blood
03. Adrenalize
04. Whore
05. You're Gonna Listen
06. It Is Written
07. Burn
08. Scarlet
09. Aries
10. From The Ashes
11. Beast Within
12. Comanche
13. The Blood Legion
14. 11_11

Suspiria's a pretty awesome movie. Probably Dario Argento's most famous, but deservedly so in the peak of his filmography, which is to say 1975 to 1987. Awesome filmmaker in his prime.

Oh, this band? LOL who cares.

i'd say "City of the Living Dead" is my favorite out of Fulci's Gates of Hell Trilogy. Can't go wrong with "The Beyond" either.

I really liked ITM's first album. I like chick vocals in metal. This band was really up my ally. I just couldn't get into their last album at all. I didn't even bother preordering this new one. If this is any indication of the content within, I give up on them. That song is just horrible.

Generic as hell flower rock. If it wasn't for the singers rack this band would never sell a single album.

Don't like the direction this one went. While Maria does some sultry vocals, the drums have too much pop/dance flavor. The riffage isn't there on this one, quite mediocre. Been a fan prior to them being signed, love the 1st & 3rd, Dream was different. Blood has its moments, but too far out there. Leave the pop beats & warbling to Gaga & co. Was surprised to see Jake E. Lee on track 5 solo. 6/10

This is selling because anything with any type of sexual overtone sells in America, and they know that....catchy chorus, but the rest is forgettable....she does look good in the latex red military outfit.....

Yep, Americans are idiots when it comes to music. I wish we could get rid of MTV, VH1 (minus VH1 Classic), Fuse and BET. Those braindead people who watch those channels lap up anything they hear, because they think it's popular. They need to learn to listen to stuff that is of quality material. Not some ugly blond with tattoos who shows cleavage.
