KILL DEVIL HILL Frontman Joins YEARS OF COLD - Aug. 7, 2012

YEARS OF COLD, the El Paso, Texas-based band featuring ex-PISSING RAZORS guitarists Mat Lynch and Cesar Soto, has announced the addition of vocalist Dewey Bragg (KILL DEVIL HILL, ex-PISSING RAZORS) to the group's ranks. Bragg recently finished laying down vocals on YEARS OF COLD's self-titled EP, to be released in October through the band's own HeavenPoint label.

"Years Of Cold" will be made available in hard copy and digital download via YearsOfCold.com while the group seeks distribution. The CD was produced by Justin Leeah (MINISTRY, CANNIBAL CORPSE, DEVILDRIVER) at DownTown Sound And Vision Lab in El Paso and Sonic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, Texas.

According to Soto, "Years Of Cold" is "unique, driven and [is] sure to crush!"

but i find his work on KDH very generic sounding.

didn't listen to Pissing Razors but heard of them for years; perhaps that vocal style is more unique.

No, KDH is out on tour right now. They wll be going through Canada into New England over the rest of the month. I saw them in AZ just a few days ago, and they sounded great.

He is a great dude - did a couple of shows with KDH last year and got to hang with the guys a bit. Mark (guitar) is also just a great dude. They are fantastic live and there is nothing generic about Dewey. It appears he is doing what most lifer musicians have to do now since you all steal their albums - they have to be in multiple bands in order to make a living (like Wino or Bower).

1) form band with a member of former great band 2) write material thinkin it will bring them to past glory 3). Use all your former resources to get an album deal and tour 4). Tour with pathetic sales a@ttendence 5) Hype and promote 6) realize its shit 7) repeat steps 1-6 The Adrenaline Mob Theory
