Wow, a Corey Taylor band ranked 9th on the bill? Say it ain't so. I look forward to Clown's opinion, even though he's not in Stone Sour.

Metallica, APC, the Offspring, Ghost, Kyuss, Anthrax, Garbage and Tomahawk = yay. The rest range from meh to get the fuck off the stage.

Australian women are hot. I love their accents and A Perfect Circle are playing. Might have to make the trip down under

Metallica's setlist and performance at Summer Sanitarium (Giants Stadium) was amazing, best I've seen them.

I go to Soundwave every year. Last years lineup was a lot better (Manson, Soad, Log, Coal Chamber, Slipknot, Devin Townsend, Alter Bridge etc etc) but there is no chance in hell I'll miss APC.

Also trippP there's no fucking chance you'll touch a hot Australian bird saying shit like that. Nobody likes a guy who thinks they've slept with every nationality like they're some connoseir.

You sound like the dude who built the monorail in the Simpsons.

Metallica & Anthrax are a good start, now lets see some better stuff come round 2 of announcements, hopefully Megadeth, Motorhead and maybe Slayer will be in it, otherwise Soundwave is dead to me much like Big Day Out.

Was also disappointed when AJ confirmed to me the other night on Twitter that Slash won't be there or back in Aus for quite some time.

I loved Soundwave 2012, so I'm hoping the next announcement is filled with more metal bands. Brisbane show went off like a frog in a sock in Feb (Devin Townsend... marry me?) so honestly, to top 2012's lineup will be near impossible to make that happen!

No Rammstein either... damn that would be IMPRESSIVE to say the least!

So if all of the shows are in Australia, why are there Native Americans and their associated tents and totems on the poster?
It also looks like the scenery is from the US southwest...
I'm not seeing the connection there.

Maynard still skirting away from Tool. And Ghost and Tomahawk on the same bill is awesome. Lucky Aussies...
