BUSH Plays Special iHeartRadio Show In Charlotte; Video Footage, Photos Available - Aug. 7, 2012
Reformed British alternative rock band BUSH came to Charlotte, North Carolina last week to play a special iHeartRadio show at Amos' Southend. A few lucky fans were able to watch BUSH play some of their biggest hits along with surprising covers.

Video footage of the performance — courtesy of the Charlotte rock station 106.5 The End — can be seen below. Photos are available at 1065.com.

BUSH's new studio album, "The Sea Of Memories", sold 20,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 18 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on September 13, 2011, the CD was produced by Bob Rock (AEROSMITH, METALLICA) and is the first BUSH album to be made available via the band’s own imprint, Zuma Rock Records, through an exclusive partnership with eOne Music.

The current BUSH lineup includes original drummer Robin Goodridge, guitarist Chris Traynor and bassist Corey Britz. Traynor replaced original axeman Nigel Pulsford in 2001 while Britz has stepped in for Dave Parsons.

Alternative is hard rock for the most part. A lot of what Nirvana/Bush/STP played is indeed hard rock. Alternative is just a sub genre. Now you've learned something today. You can go wank off now.

I like Bush. I think that Golden State is a very underrated album. Headful of Ghosts and Solutions are great songs.

And, a preemptive strike agains the obvious joke, I also like bush. A lot, actually.

Gavin has one of the most consistent voices in Rock. Sounds live like he does on CD.

Clear Channel stations continue to play these has-beens in heavy rotation, after all. I'd say Bush owes them.
