If by "reborn" you mean QR now being fronted by a guy who can't hit the notes, already admitted to using taped backing tracks and stands in the middle of the stage and head bangs, while singing somebody’s else’s lyrics.......then enjoy.

They're thinking the fans will get to hear Queensryche with a guy who can actually sing the material.

Except for Dokken. Even Ratt is preferable to that bloated, croaking waste of space.

Queensryche with La Torre and Accept and MSG, though? Holy shit, that's fuckin' cool!

This would have been my dream lineup in 1984, but almost 30 years and 30 lineup changes later, no thanks.

Still, I hope those that go have a great time.

Not to mention the guy LOVES to sing the material, loves heavy metal and doesn't tell the audience that they suck.

Eddie Trunk just splooged himself reading that lineup. Wonder if he'll pimp himself to MC it?

If I had to choose which show to attend during the third weekend of October, I'd choose the South Texas Rock Fest over the corporate ACL Festival.

Accept is the band that I want to see. I haven't taken Stalingrad out of the CD player since it was released. It's every bit as good as Blood of the Nations, and that's saying a lot.

I think a better fit for Taint would be the Village People. Then he could prance around the stage and Gyrate his hips all he wants. Plus when he tells the crowd that they "Suck" he will actually be right, lol

should be call south texas splinter fest. when to many original/classic line-up members are gone, it's time to call your new band something else or it aint gonna be well received no matter how good the band is. ..

Eddie Trunk couldn't come to an agreement for last years South Texas Fest that featured UFO. I hope he can make it, in order to give some national exposure to SA.

I agree with some of the posters above that Accept should be headlining this.

I also agree that Stalingrad is a great album, but Blood Of The Nations is a masterpiece.

All in all, this looks like a good show.

Ratt is no longer on the STRF bill. Here's the scoop on the STRF AND the Bud Light Fall Fest -- two rock fests during the same week in October at the same San Antonio venue: http://www.examiner.com/article/pair-of-fests-to-put-the-rock-rocktober-at-sunken-gardens

I see the Taint family has hired employees to go for FIRST POST and trash the real Queensryche here every time a new article is posted. Notice all the thumbs down on the Taint employee posts and all the thumbs up on the pro Queensryche with Todd posts? Count those up Geoff Taint and ram all those thumbs up your ass w[h]ine boy, you are history.
