ANVIL's latest album, "Juggernaut Of Justice", was released in Europe on June 20, 2011 (three days earlier in Germany) via SPV/Steamhammer. The effort was made available as a limited-edition digipak (including two bonus tracks), double gatefold LP in blue vinyl, standard version and a digital download.

In an interview with MusicFrenzy.net, Lips stated about the departure of the band's longtime bassist Glenn Gyorffy (a.k.a. Glenn Five or G5) and the addition of Sal Italiano, "It's so much more a relaxed, comfortable feeling on the stage. Sal steps back for me to do the front thing rather than trying to compete with it, or be a distraction to it. It's comfortable — it makes it very comfortable when everybody realizes what it all is and there's no bad vibes, which is… I mean, vibes between the members is everything and the ill feelings that we had around us are gone."

Italiano is a member of the Long Island, New York IRON MAIDEN tribute band LIVE AFTER DEATH and original progressive metal act THE NIGHTMARE STAGE, as well as a former member of the acclaimed '80s heavy metal group CITIES.

Glenn Five joined ANVIL in 1996 and has appeared on seven of the band's albums, including "This Is Thirteen" and the group's latest release, "Juggernaut Of Justice", on which he wrote and sang the song "This Ride".

This band blows so bad.I liked the documentary & Metal on Metal is a cranking tune, but the reason you never really made it is the rest of your songs suck & your lyrics are fucking stupid.

It's a shame this documentary got them so much attention because in reality there's a reason why they never got the recognition they wanted: they're no good at all!

Pick up the 'best of' there are a lot of good thrash classic sounding tacks in there, including some well done re-recordings. When I randomly land on Anvil on my iPod, it's always "woah cool song! Oh yeah it's by Anvil"

I was an Anvil fan in both the '80s and '90s restfully. The band had their metal moments, albeit limited. I recall distinctly around 1987 hen they had this God awful MTV video about a mad dog, it was officially over for them from that point forward really. Lips playing guitar with a dildo never really charmed too many people either. I cannot say everything they have recorded since 1987 was utter crap, they do have their moments,. However, the contrived documentary really was the last nail in the coffin for me. Beating a dead horse to earn a bit a change in your late 50s is just pathetic. If you want a non contrived, back to reality of how difficult being a metal musician can be for decades on end, then check out "Strange Dazes Here". I wish Anvil well, as always, but their time came and went decades ago, let's be honest.
