RANDY BLYTHE Video Shoutouts From Members Of CANNIBAL CORPSE, THE FACELESS, PERIPHERY - Aug. 3, 2012
Last Saturday (July 28) at The Summer Slaughter Tour at the House of Blues in Houston, Texas, Rusty Cooley and the Guitar Asylum TV crew filmed video shoutouts of support to LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe from members of CANNIBAL CORPSE, THE FACELESS, PERIPHERY, VEIL OF MAYA and EXHUMED. Check out the footage below.

Blythe was released from custody yesterday (Thursday, August 2) after spending more than a month at a Prague, Czech Republic prison on manslaughter charges. The singer boarded a direct flight to New York at approximately 1:00 p.m. CEST (Central European Summer Time) today and has since landed on U.S. soil.

Blythe was arrested at the Prague airport on June 27 and was accused of shoving a local fan off the stage during LAMB OF GOD's May 2010 concert in the city. The man, who is said to have stormed the stage three times during the show, reportedly suffered a brain hemorrhage that resulted in his death nearly a month later.

After the court doubled Blythe's bail last month from about $200,000 to about $400,000, the prosecutor once again filed a complaint against the singer's release.

A Prague court on Thursday (August 2) dismissed the request that Blythe be banned from leaving the country.

Blythe confirmed earlier today that he will return to the Czech Republic — if necessary — to face trial. "I'm an international touring artist," he said. "I have to clear my name. So, yes, I will come back [to Prague] if I'm called to court."

Can't this story just die? Lamb of God isn't even any good! All it has produced is a bunch of bigoted Americans getting all butthurt because some country dared to arrest a guy on suspicion of a crime...

Oh I just can't wait to hear the sagely thoughts of another American xenophobe who thinks the US government has jurisdiction across the whole world and that the Czech Rep. is some backwards hole whose justice system isn't fit for purpose.

Manslaughter in the 4th degre... it's a perfectly fair charge to bring to trial.

... shame that so many in Gitmo don't even get a trial... Shame that so many foreigners get "disappeared" from their own countries by the US Govt. and have no recourse to justice.

But then, if America takes foreigners and bundles them away from their home as it sees fit and without any proper charge, it's "for freedom and justice". Witness how the Americans have bundled off the likes of Kim Dotcom and Gary McKinnon for "crimes" that aren't even crimes in their own country, which is where these "crimes" were committed.

...but if another country perfectly legitimately arrests an American on suspicion of a crime there, then OH NOO WHAT BARBARIANS HOW DARE THEY!

Fuck the US Government and all the retarded Americans commenting on these stories. Did I see some dumbass American suggest that American women were hotter than European girls? Is he freaking blind? American women are a load of creepy, obese, plastic-stuffed hookers. European chicks (Brits excepted) are HOT.

get your facts straight dip shit. this aint about the american government, this is about the fact that randy was behind bars for this long for something he clearly didnt do. it is the fact that innocence was not protected, but he was made out to look like a murderer from day 1 that he got arrested on top of that, he was never charged with SHIT! Period this was a shake down, simple as, and that is a damn shame the fact this fan lost his life went completely out of the window over the course of this "trial" it was all about the fact he was a "flight risk" BULLSHIT they got their $400000 and now hes back in the states.... man they REALLY had the goods on him eyy? oh by the way..... could you explain to me why the security guard who is clearly seen dumping the kid on his head was never questioned? hmm? got anything? no! love the band or hate the band, dont fucking matter, fact is a poor kid lost his life and the only thing the courts wanted was his damn money and in the process fucked up his life hood and most importantly fucked with the freedom of another man whith no charges ever produced against him only "suspicions" get your head out of your ass you idiot.

"the guy was wrongly jailed and everyone knows that"

Is that so? Oh thanks for telling us. Obviously your expert legal opinion, gargantuan philosophical intellect and knowledge of Czech law outstrips mine...

A kid is dead. They arrest him on suspicion of Manslaughter in the 4th degree (after seeing footage of him assaulting the kid and reports to that effect). That's basically negligence in more Western terms. It's a perfectly fair charge and they clearly have enough to bring it to trial. Seems fair enough; maybe you think he didn't mean to hurt him or whatever but it's a negligence charge - it's hardly the greatest miscarriage of justice that's ever happened... especially when it's Americans complaining - the country that puts a special prison in Cuba so it can "liquidate" people it doesn't like without any judicial process...

again (as you guys seem to be thick as the courts) what about the security guard that bear hugged him and threw him unto his head? how comes hes not being questioned? this isnt about the fact hes american an "deserves" freedom, its about the fact he didnt do it, simple how that took one month to decide, is fucking funny as shit as i said before, they got his money, and they let him go, cuz they didnt have shit on him, or hed still be there the justice the kids family deserves does not lye on the prosecution of randy, but on the shitty security staff who are clearly seen pushing him about from A to Z for fucks sake, even daniel's uncle doesnt believe randy did it lol

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of LOGs music, nor will I say he was wrongly incarcerated because I don't know, I wasn't there. But there is certainly nothing wrong with the metal community, American or otherwise, coming together to support him. And really, calling Americans bigots while you slam us online only shows your feeble-minded idiocy. Judging an entire countries people on what a couple of idiots might post on here ( and you can't read Blabbermouth without seeing idiot posts sometimes) is about as bigoted as it gets, wouldn't you say? I wouldn't begin to slam your country ( wherever that may be ) on something you said because I think you are an idiot. So, like I said, even though not a huge fan, I still support Mr. Blythe and hope he receives a fair trial like I would anyone else.

Oh, the band isn't even any good, so don't show any support for their vocalist who was wrongly held in a Czech prison after he paid his fucking bail and then paid it AGAIN when they doubled it because they clearly thought that he couldn't afford the first amount. Yeah, that's sound logic.

We don't even have to get started on the rest of your post. Normally I'd go out of my way to make you look like a douche bag, but you've done such a great job of it yourself. Congratulations.
