SCUM OF THE EARTH: 'The Devil Made Me Do It III' Video Released - Aug. 2, 2012
"The Devil Made Me Do It III", the new video from SCUM OF THE EARTH — the band led by former ROB ZOMBIE guitarist Riggs — can be seen below. The clip was filmed in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at The Native Village, which is where part of "Jackass 3D" movie was shot. Directed by Tim King (SOIL bassist and director of A&R at Goomba Music, Inc.), the video offers viewers exactly what they expect (and more) from SCUM OF THE EARTH, including live snakes, Riggs in an alligator pit, zombie voodoo girls, fire breathers, lots of blood, and wild animals.

"The Devil Made Me Do It III", was released in June and was heard during the recent New Jersey Devils Stanley Cup playoff games. Recorded at the Mansion Studio in Columbia, Missouri by Riggs and Brandon Mashburn (TRUST COMPANY, THE DREAMING), the song comes off SCUM OF THE EARTH's third album, "The Devil Made Me Do It", which will be released on August 28 via Goomba Music, Inc. (with distribution through eOne in North America). Produced by Riggs and Volkstoker, it was recorded at Scum HQ in Branson, Missouri and is the follow-up to 2007's "Sleaze Freak" (Eclipse Records).

Commented Riggs, "Being that this is 2012 and the end of the world and all, I thought the SCUM OF THE EARTH sound has ran its course, so I reinvented the sound with the help of a producer/programmer by the name Volkstroker. We worked on the songs for eight months and this was the end result. Check it out before you turn into a zombie."

Rob Zombie is nothing without Riggs.

He hasn't been for quite some time.

On another note - thank god "Metal" Sanaz is not singing any backup vocals on this disc...

Huge disappointment! After hearing this track, I don't know wether I want to see Riggs teaming up for Zombie again or not. This is just fucking horrible! Not FFDB horrible but just more than terrible. I would rather listen to songs about sick bubblegum than this shit.
