DUFF MCKAGAN, SCOTT IAN, CHRIS JERICHO Confirmed For 'Rock Stars Say The Funniest Things' - July 31, 2012
According to Metal Hammer, Duff McKagan (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER, DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED), Scott Ian (ANTHRAX) and Chris Jericho (FOZZY, WWE wrestling superstar) will take part in "Rock Stars Say The Funniest Things", a new series of spoken-word sets taking place at Garage in London, England.

Duff will take to the stage on Tuesday, October 25 for "It's So Easy: A Punk's Review", featuring anecdotes and passages from his book "It's So Easy (And Other Lies)". As well as sharing memories from his musical journey, he will be playing some acoustic tracks and letting the audience delve deeper into this life with a question-and-answer session.

Scott, who will host an evening on Sunday, November 4, commented: "This is something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I've been travelling the world in the company of and hanging out with the greatest people on the planet for 31 years and I've got to tales to tell."

Chris will appear on Sunday, November 25 for a night of tales from his life as a rock star and WWE legend.

Tickets on sale on August 1.

Duff fucked up = funny! Glad he's sober now for his sake, but this cat used to seem.like he'd have a hard time reciting his own phone number. Scott Ian might think he's funny, but I only crossed his path and thought "dickhead". Chris Jehrico? Thinking a wrestler can rock...that's funny!

They should replace Duff McKagan and Chris Jericho with Sebastian Bach and Mike Portnoy and rename it to "Rock Stars Say The Bitchiest Things."

Chris Jericho is not a rock star. Tony Iommi doesn't wrestle - please go back to your genre.

Wrestling is a genre? Or are you speaking of Wrestling Rock, ala Disturbed, Drowning Pool, et al?

They will need a bigger venue for Scott Ian's head, he is a pretentious tosser at the best of times, now he thinks he's a comedian. He's a fucking joke, that's not quite the same.

I wonder if he has any hilarious anecdotes about...oh, let's see - singers doing a poo on band-members who pissed their pants and cried that they were being bullied? Will people be able to quiz him on his financial situation? Or ask if he and Billy Milano are mates?

Crap like this is what happens when people get ideas above their station. Mr Ian can play the shit out of a guitar, he ought to stick to what he is (or rather, WAS) good at.
Genuinely charismatic and funny people - like Ozzy in his prime, or KK Downing, or Phil Mogg, tell their own hilarious tales, or are a laugh to be with.
This is very different to someone who looks like a lightbulb with a goatee sitting on a stage telling tales about the spiffing wheezes he has had "hanging out with the greatest people on the planet". Sounds like a name-drop-athon to me. Yeah, fucking hilarious.

Personally, I think a better night would be to get the names I mentioned above, plus other notable Drunken Jesters, in a pub together, all get completely pissed up, then let the tales commence - now THAT would be entertainment.

Are they not the same three that were in the Zakk Wylde Roast show? What contract have these folks signed.

But anyway, STOP ACTING LIKE A DOUCHE, SCOTT!
