Former MISFITS Frontman MICHALE GRAVES Arrested For Marijuana Possession - July 25, 2012

While passing through a border check point in Kennedy County in the great state of Texas on Monday, July 23, former MISFITS frontman Michale Graves was arrested for possession of 6 grams of marijuana. Graves was taken into custody by the Kingsville Sheriff's department and charged with a misdemeanor. He was held overnight, missing the El Paso show at Lips Lounge on Tuesday.

Graves was released Tuesday, July 24 at 4:00 p.m. on a $750 bond. He must return to Texas to answer to the charges. The band drove for 20 straight hours to reach tonight's (Wednesday, July 25) show at the Silverdome in Lukachukai, Arizona. He hopes to be able to make up the El Paso concert in some way.

Michale Graves is currently on the "War Of Information" summer U.S. tour. This is his first full band tour in five years.

Graves will enter the studio this fall to record his new studio album, "War Of Information", to be released in the spring of 2013.

What a pathetic and irresponsible misappropriation of limited law enforcement resources.

I feel so much safer knowing that this man, Mr. Graves, isn't smoking cannabis while watching Evil Dead II and eating Doritos, while a delusional psychopath in Colorado can amass a massive arsenal of firearms and ammunition larger than some nation's entire armed forces with nothing more than a debit card and an internet connection to walmart.com.

Some news story. So whose "farewell tour" is it, already? Blitzkid is fucking terrible, but as bad as the 90s-era Misfits were, Graves was probably the best thing about them.

I've never tried cannabis and never will. Not because I'm scared it'll kill me.

It's because of the words people use around it, they're so cringe-inducing. Most potheads sound like 12 year olds, and they're dicks. You get the odd intelligent person who smokes the occasional joint, fair enough. But it's downright embarrassing when people are all 'LEGALISE DAT SHIT! SMOKE DA 'ERB LOLOLOMGROFL!'
