QUIET RIOT: New EPK Released - July 25, 2012
A new three-minute QUIET RIOT EPK (Electronic Press Kit) featuring professionally filmed video footage of the band's May 12 performance at the M3 Rock Festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland can be seen below.

QUIET RIOT in March recruited Scott Vokoun as its new lead singer.

The band played several shows in early February with ex-MONTROSE vocalist Keith St. John following the departure of Mark Huff.

QUIET RIOT's current touring lineup is as follows:

Scott Vokoun - Vocals
Frankie Banali - Drums
Chuck Wright - Bass
Alex Grossi - Guitar

QUIET RIOT singer Kevin DuBrow died in November 2007 of an accidental cocaine overdose. He was 52 years old.

QUIET RIOT was perhaps best known for its 1983 cover of "Cum On Feel The Noize". The song, featuring DuBrow's powerful, gravelly voice, appeared on the band's album "Metal Health" — which was the first by a metal band to reach No. 1 on the Billboard chart.

at the VERY least, they could get Carlos and Rudy back. This line up isn't much more than a name.

Why the hell not? Frankie and Kevin were tight and even this took Frankie a while to come to grips with-going out without his friend. And, they're not playing big places at all, so it isn't for or about the money. I agree it would be cool to have Carlos and Rudy back, but out of respect for Kevin (who couldn't stand Sarzo), I would be shocked if Frankie allowed that to happen. Plus, I believe Chuck Wright played on a few QR LP's (III for sure) and he's solid live.

with the "it's not Quiet Riot" comments. We know how you feel about. You guys post on every new Quiet Riot thread the same quotes. Are you still going to be posting those comments ten years from now? You don't like it. Message loud and clear. But the band went on anyway so give it up already.

Man, that trailer is inspiring excitement in nobody. They could have at least mixed it up w/ live footage from other performances. Oh, right, those would have shown 5 people in the crowd. The voiceover sounds like it's from a bad 1970's K-Tel commercial. Plus, I don't recognize anybody in that band - might as well be any other dorky bar act, really.

I hope they have some good strong new material. As for Kevin feelings toward (could not stand him), goes back to his hurt that Sarzo left QR to go with Ozzy. Kevin hated Ozzy for taking RR from QR. He always blamed Ozzy for RR death, he blasted Ozzy at every turn. To the point it hurt their album sells.

As for Chuck Wright played with QR off and on. I dont know if it is fact or not, Kevin told me Wright played with QR before they were signed to their record deal. I didn't remember him in the band, if he was, I he did not make an impression on me. I remember RR and Kevin Dubrow. RR was amazing guitar player and KD was a machine on stage.

RIP KD!!! You are missed my friend!

With only one original member I thought I would hate this. I was the perfect age of 18 when Metal Health came out. This band sounds every bit as good if not better than the original band. Being kind of stubborn I would like to see 1 or 2 more original members in the ban. I also admit that if they changed anything it MIGHT not sound this good. I just found it weird when the announcer said " The band that started it all " and most of the band wasn't there. Still they sound great. I would go see them if they come to Canada.

You need to do some research. There are no original members in Quiet Riot. This is nothing but a cash grab.

Frankie is original the way smeghead65 intends it. In the classic (important) Metal Health line up. No one wants to see Drew whats his name up there playing in QR.
