DON DOKKEN Says He Was On Bus Used In Bulgarian Suicide Bombing One Day Before Deadly Blast - July 25, 2012

DOKKEN singer Don Dokken tells TMZ.com that he came dangerously close to becoming a victim in last week's Bulgaria suicide bombing. According to Don (see video below), he was on the same bus that was bombed just one day before the deadly explosion.

The July 18 terrorist attack in Bulgaria's Burgas killed 5 Israeli tourists and a Bulgarian bus driver at the Sarafovo Airport near Burgas. The bomb was reportedly exploded by remote control after the bomber was challenged by two Israeli men who were killed in the explosion.

The bombing was reportedly the work of Hezbollah operatives backed by Iran. However, Iran has denied any involvement in the bombing.

DOKKEN performed on June 14 at the Kavarna Rock festival in Kavarna, Bulgaria.

Once we performed right before Doklen did and I got stuck at the venue without a ride. I had to listen to the chicken assassin as he chain smoked and wheezed through three or four songs before I was able to get the hell out of there.

Ha... newyears eve 1999... I sat backstage in Chicago and watched Don Dokken give Rick Allen this whole ethics/ass-kissing speech about good it was that he continued on after the accident and blah blah... it actually made me uncomfortable and Rick wasn't really buying it either. True (sad) story.

because shit like that happens every day .... I once watched a play from a luxury box at Ford's Theater the week before Lincoln got shot, and I was actually sitting in the exact same chair, so I totally believe him.

Don was also on the Titanic, but he said he stole a row boat and jumped ship right before the iceberg hit because they served stale peanuts in the ship's bar and he got pissed off.
