CLUTCH Performs New Songs In Pensacola; Video Available - July 22, 2012
Maryland rockers CLUTCH played three brand new songs on July 18 at Vinyl Music Hall in Pensacola, Florida. Fan-filmed video footage of two of the tracks can be viewed below. The entire concert is available at Tyronehood.tv.

CLUTCH released a new limited-edition picture-disc single, "Pigtown Blues", on June 5 via Weathermaker Music. The A side is "Pigtown Blues" and the B side is an acoustic version of the track "Motherless Child". The disc is available at your favorite record store as well as online at IndierMerchStore.com and Pro-Rock.com. This is the first new studio material from CLUTCH since 2009's "Strange Cousins From the West" and the first simultaneous worldwide release for Weathermaker Music.

CLUTCH is currently taking part in a headlining tour with special guests PRONG and LIONIZE. The run kicks off July 11 in Fayetteville, Arkansas and wraps up tonight (Sunday, July 22) in Richmond, Virginia.

CLUTCH will also be playing select dates in August with LIONIZE. These shows are scheduled for August 9, 10 and 12.

CLUTCH has also rescheduled the two shows that were postponed this May. These dates are now scheduled for November 1 through November 3. LIONIZE will be providing direct support and MONSTRO will open these dates.

The first time I saw Clutch about 12 years ago , I went with the intention of watching the guitarist & picking up a few things.
Not.
I have NEVER heard a drummer play like that! He must be the closest thing to John Bohnam out there.

...The new album will be better than 'Cousins'. I found it to be a very average album compared to the previous few.

Doesn't have the more blues feel they had on the last couple albums (that were great) kind of more like a Robot Hive or Elephant Riders vibe - GOOD NEWS!

Saw a stop of this tour not too long ago, and Prong absolutely destroyed the place. "Carved Into Stone" is a brilliant masterpiece and my favorite album by them. Check it out!

One of the greatest American bands working today...and by working, I mean NOT relying on their past glories (Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Skynyrd) but still regularly putting out quality, vital material regularly.

So criminally underrated.

...I do not get their appeal at all. By the 3rd song I was looking for a pillow & blanket.

To each his own...

I have uploaded a different new song from that same show. Clutch put on one hell of a show that night. I've seen them three times before that show and this was by far the best I've ever seen them.. Here is the link
