JOHN CORABI: 'Unplugged' CD Artwork Unveiled - July 9, 2012
John Corabi — former lead singer of MÖTLEY CRÜE, THE SCREAM and UNION — has unveiled the cover art of his upcoming "Unplugged" CD. Check it out below.

Corabi recently released a limited-edition two-song CD sampler at this location. The disc features John's last live performance with THE SCREAM singing "Father, Mother, Son" as well as the track "If I Never Get To Say Goodbye..." from the unplugged CD.

Corabi's acoustic album will include "old songs, new songs and just a sample of things to come." Tentatively due in the spring, the set will contain two versions of the MÖTLEY CRÜE's song "Hooligan's Holiday" — a stripped-back acoustic version and a more elaborate but still acoustic-based band arrangement — as well as a version of the CRÜE's "Loveshine" and even a song by Corabi's first band, ANGORA, which was originally produced by Steve Vai.

Corabi originally joined CRÜE in 1992 as the replacement for the group's original singer, Vince Neil, who was fired due to personal differences. With Corabi on vocals, MÖTLEY CRÜE released one critically acclaimed full-length CD, which ended up being a commercial failure in the wake of grunge despite a Top-Ten placing on the album chart. When Neil returned to the fold in 1997, Corabi was left on his own and formed the band UNION with ex-KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick.

John is a better singer for Motley Crue then Vince. That Self Titled Crue record is amazing! Corabi should of stayed on board.

Agreed, those 2 albums rock, MC's is harder but Let It Scream is pretty good in its own way. I'll check this acoustic effort but Corabi was born to sing along distorted guitars.

I still think his Crüe record is best, definitely the hardest, and as was mentioned above, I have always been amazed that he never gained the notoriety his talent deserved....wish this was a straight ahead rock record!

Saw the Crue in '95 at Ft. Hood Stadium in Texas when Corabi was fronting the band and it was the best Crue show ive seen (and ive seen em 6 times with Vince ) . I agree with the above posters that this guy should be a household name. Also i saw Ratt when he was in the band and he sang a few songs and that was also the best Ratt show ive seen. John just rocks .

Stand Up, Get Heavy, Play Smoke the Sky LIVE! Do a tour playing the crue cd front to back, the new corabi album and some scream shit.

Quit saying Smoke the Sky is hard to play. No Shit, that's why we want to hear it. Someone is actually stretching themselves? Man UP! Play some of the Personality#9 songs live. RESPECT

Create a buzz

The 'Motley Crue' album is still killer. Had the band gone with a name change once Corabi came on, it would have been received a lot better, I think. I still love that album. I have that and the 'Quaternary' E.P. that came with it. Great voice and good to hear he's back with a new record.

I've always loved his stuff. The scream was awesome. I would love to see them reform. As far as the Crue went i thought it was a great album. Very different for them. Union was great too. Kulick and him did good music. I seen him when he was with Cantrell in Cardboard Vampires. Which had the guitarist from the Cult in it as well. It was a great show. Sean Kinney got on stage and Corabi sang Alice and Chains tunes. He did a awesome job on those tunes. Father, Mother will be good on this because it is a acoustic song for the most part. Ill be getting this one. I have the screams cd on my phone. Strong all the way through, just good straight up hard rock n roll. Intresting side not to the band the screa

Whoops hit post doing this on my phone.
Interesting side note of the scream, The musicians were from Racer X. The original drummer quite before the album Let it scream was recorded. He left to replace Judas priests drummer and hes still in Priest. You all know him Scott Travis.
