FEAR FACTORY Frontman Interviewed By 'The Zeitgeist Movement' (Video) - July 9, 2012
The Maryland chapter of The Zeitgeist Movement conducted an interview with vocalist Burton C. Bell of Los Angeles cyber metallers FEAR FACTORY prior to the band's May 12 concert at Sonar in Baltimore. You can now watch the chat below.

"Zeitgeist: The Movie" is a 2007 documentary film by Peter Joseph. It asserts a number of conspiracy theory-based ideas, including the Christ myth theory, alternative theories for the parties responsible for the September 11 attacks in 2001 and that bankers manipulate the international monetary system and the media in order to consolidate power. The film was released online on June 18, 2007, on ZeitgeistMovie.com. While the film has been praised by some for the professional-level quality of its pacing and editing, and for its compelling narrative, it has been criticized for factual inaccuracies and the quality of its arguments, with critics describing it as "agitprop" and "propaganda." A sequel, "Zeitgeist: Addendum", focuses further on the monetary system and advocates a resource-based social system influenced by the ideas of Jacque Fresco and the Venus Project. Following "Zeitgeist: Addendum", Peter Joseph created an organization called The Zeitgeist Movement to promote the ideas of Fresco's Venus Project. An updated version of the original film, entitled "Zeitgeist: Final Edition", was produced in 2010. A third film called "Zeitgeist: Moving Forward" was released theatrically on January 15, 2011, and online on January 25, 2011.

FEAR FACTORY's new album, "The Industrialist", sold 9,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 38 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, "Mechanize", opened with 10,000 units back in February 2010 to land at No. 72.

Released in North America on June 5 via Candlelight Records, "The Industrialist" is a conceptual record based around a story written by Burton C. Bell. Lyrics to the album's ten songs divulge the narrative as discussed recently by Bell with Decibel magazine. The album's artwork was created by American designer Anthony Clarkson with additional direction from the band. The album was made available on three formats — standard CD, a limited edition deluxe digi-book (featuring two additional songs), and 180-gram double vinyl.

Why don't the writers of this book just say "We hate the white conservative male". That's the end game for every one of their ridiculous assertions.

"C.unt" smell is also another one.

Burton's pussy stinks. Everything is a conspiracy. The fact that you have some serious male-patern-baldness going on, is the George bush's fault?

Fake Factory
