KISS Interviewed By U.K.'s ABSOLUTE RADIO (Video) - July 4, 2012
Absolute Radio's Leona Graham conducted an interview with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS ahead of their London, England concert on Wednesday, July 4. A three-and-a-half-minute excerpt from the chat can be seen below. The full interview will be posted soon.

KISS's 20th studio album, "Monster", is set for release in October through Universal Music Enterprises. The 12-track, straight-ahead rock 'n' roll album features collaborations among all four members — including co-founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons and longtime members guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer — in an album that shows the band at the top of its game. And that's saying something, considering their illustrious, 40-plus year history — 28 U.S. gold albums, the most gold records for any American rock band, 40 million sales in the U.S., and a total exceeding 100 million worldwide.

they also said in the 80's after they took off the makeup that they did it out of respect for the original members, and their characters, but look at them now.

Kiss figured that hard rock was in such a sorry state and hard rock records weren't selling and arena rock was pretty much a dead issue. I guess KiSS decided that the Farewell tour wasn't the time to pack it in!! I'm happy they didn't say farewell because KiSS are one of a few hard rock bands left that actually sell a decent # of records and KiSS still fills arena's!! When bands like KiSS, Aerosmith, Van Halen and Metallica decide to say farewell, then hard rock/arena rock will in fact be a dead issue. The only newer bands(10 years or so) that sell records and fill arena's is Nickelback!! There are a lot of good rock bands out there but none have the selling power(record and concerts) as the above bands mentioned!!

"Anything is possible if you work hard for it."

Their most popular song says:
"I wanna rock n' roll all night and party every day."

Stan, please shut the fuck up. Phony bastard. Not even going to mention the twat next to you.
