VAN HALEN: Video Footage Of Entire Los Angeles Concert - July 1, 2012
Fan-filmed video footage of VAN HALEN's entire June 1 concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California can be seen below.

The band's setlist was as follows:

01. Unchained
02. Runnin' With The Devil
03. She's The Woman
04. Romeo Delight
05. Tattoo
06. Everybody Wants Some!!
07. Somebody Get Me A Doctor
08. China Town
09. Hear About It Later
10. Oh, Pretty Woman (ROY ORBISON Cover)
11. Drum Solo
12. You Really Got Me (THE KINKS cover)
13. The Trouble With Never
14. Dance The Night Away
15. I'll Wait
16. And The Cradle Will Rock…
17. Hot For Teacher
18. Women In Love
19. Beautiful Girls
20. Ice Cream Man (JOHN BRIM cover)
21. Panama
22. Guitar Solo
23. Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
24. Jump

As previously reported, Eddie Van Halen and his son, VAN HALEN bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, gave a rare joint interview to USA Today on June 13 in which they discussed the reason for the band canceled more than 30 summer tour dates following a June 26 show in New Orleans. Eddie explained, "We bit off more than we could chew. This record took a lot out of us. And we went on tour earlier than we wanted to so we could play Madison Square Garden (in March, before a renovation), and that threw the schedule out of whack."

Eddie added that "a lot of the canceled dates were in cities we already played," but promised that VAN HALEN will return to U.S. stages later on: "In November, we'll hit Japan, and in the New Year, we'll possibly do something special, but I can't talk about it."

When the canceled shows were announced, rumors originally began circulating that Eddie and singer David Lee Roth were feuding again. But Eddie denied that, saying, "Dave's the same as he's always been, funny, witty. Sometimes I can only take that in small doses, because he just goes on and on."

Wolfgang added, "He's like the Energizer Bunny — wind it up and see what happens," while his father said, "But Dave always lands on his feet."

Roth himself posted a video message online explaining the scrapped dates, saying that "the band is getting along famously, better than we have in quite some time . . . (but) if we continue past July 4 and all the way into Australia and Japan then we're asking for the robot zombie tour."

VAN HALEN is touring behind "A Different Kind Of Truth", its first album in 14 years and first with Roth since 1984.

Since they have Dave on the slide board workout while on stage why dont they put meatball on a treadmill?

Kid's already lost a bunch of weight from where he was 3 or 4 years ago. So apparently, he *has* been on a treadmill. Or maybe just stopped drinking 50 Cokes a day. I don't know.

They already have been putting a meatball on the treadmill and you should see how fast Wolfgang has been running on that treadmill while chasing that meatball! He lost 10 pounds already!

You can take Dave out of Broadway, but you can't take Broadway out of Dave.

Dave is kind of hard to watch these days. Also, the vocals all around (main and backups) are only a shell of what they once were. The one saving grace is that as a musical unit of guitar, bass, and drums, they're still very tight and very capable. I just wish DLR didn't look and act like such a douche now. It's kind of a distraction.

The vocals are an improvement in spots over some concets but still the weakest part of the show. Roth and Woldie hit some real clinkers. Eddie smoking as usually on this tour. He is the show along with the nostalgia. Eddie is first rate on this tour.

Roth whether you like that pagliaccio or not he is a great frontman when Eddied Van Halen has his back.

Trickbunny is right, Roth looks like string cheese thats been sitting out in the sun to long. His constant "Uh, OOO..., Yaaaa, and Ahaaaing," is irritating and he talks a lot of the vocals instead of singing them. Don't get me wrong I think it would be worth seeing, he just needs to tone the ring leader routine, I am supprised he does not pull out the "Jazz Hand" during the show.

Dave really needs to get his shit together, his timing is horrible and he is always singing off key. And the image is pretty lame, he looks like he should be marching in the gay parade.

Very fun gig. Get some drinks in you, show up to Kool & Gang getting party started, then watch Eddie blow the roof off. Dave was great that night too. Good to have them back

While I'm a fan of VH I seen them live in St. Paul MN and while the band sounded good with the exception of some mistakes by Alex Van Halen, But it was extremely hard to watch David on stage he just seems like an old man (which he kinda is), He sounded ok but his movement is that of an old man and it was hard to watch, i know that seems shallow but it's the truth!

Nice to see Eddie and Wolfie couldn't be bothered to change out of the clothes they wore to their backyard BBQ earlier in the day. Lazy.

As for Dave being old, I saw them on the previous reunion tour and I think Dave's had hip replacement surgery. Eddie's was public but Dave's been out of the limelight for a long time so I bet he had it but kept it quiet.

Band sounds good except for the bad backing vocals. Michael Anthony was as least as good a singer as Dave.

You guys are nuts. dave never could sing very well but he had a tone and attitude that fit. Now he can't hold a note and sounds like shit. The voice, what there was of it, is gone.

It's great to see Eddie looking better and sounding better than he has in years. That said - I think when this tour is done (however many legs there will be of it) it will be the final hurrah - at least with David Lee Roth up front.

Dave's voice is shot
but I am still enjoying this reunion...Eddie has been awesome..
also thought the album is way above expectations

in recent interview...Eddie hinted that there will be more...probably another album

Dave has wandered into Vince Neil territory as far as vocal laziness. Eddie and Wolf do more singing during the show than Dave does. And when he does decide to sing he makes no attempt to sing it right, he either just yells the lyrics or just speaks them.
