LYNCH MOB Films 'Slow Drag' Video - June 29, 2012
LYNCH MOB filmed a video for the song "Slow Drag" earlier today (Friday, June 29) in Houston, Texas. A couple of photos from the video shoot can be seen below.

LYNCH MOB, coming off a highly praised performance at this year's M3 Rock Festival in May, recently entered the studio energized and ready to rock. The fruits of their labor, entitled "Sound Mountain Sessions", will be released in July.

LYNCH MOB has tapped Brian Tichy (WHITESNAKE) as its new touring drummer for the upcoming summer shows in support of the band's new release.

LYNCH MOB 2012 is:

Oni Logan - vocals
George Lynch - guitar
Robbie Crane - bass
Brian Tichy - drums

On June 19, Deadline Music/Cleopatra Records released a special three-disc audio/video deluxe collection of LYNCH MOB's "REvolution". The set features the full-length studio album "REvolution" with killer, supercharged renditions of classic DOKKEN/LYNCH MOB tracks such as "Tooth And Nail", "Breaking The Chains", "Wicked Sensation" and more. It also includes professionally filmed live performances recorded during the 2005 "REvolution" tour, mixed in 5.1 Surround Sound.

LYNCH MOB's comeback album, "Smoke And Mirrors", was released in Europe on September 18, 2009 (October 13, 2009 in the U.S.) via Frontiers Records. The recording lineup on the CD included Lynch and singer Oni Logan alongside bassist Marco Mendoza (WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY) and drummer Scot Coogan (BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, ACE FREHLEY).

Lynch has joined forces with fellow former/current DOKKEN members Jeff Pilson (bass) and Mick Brown (drums) in a new project called T&N (formerly TOOTH AND NAIL). The band's debut album is tentatively due later in the year. The CD will feature new original material as well as reworked versions of around five or six DOKKEN classics.

Lynch's eleventh solo album in nearly twenty years, "Kill All Control", was released in July 2011 via Rocket Science, Inc.

Why do washed up bands spend money on filming videos that no one is going to see unless they stumble accross it on Youtube.

Thats an ESP tele copy, not a true Tele, so, plus the guy seemed real sloppy at the M3 fest.

I saw Lynch Mob on May 10th at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. The band was awesome. They played most of the Wicked Sensation LP, and a new track as well. George was not sloppy. He was a master of his craft.

First thing he did when he came out on stage was kneel down by his amps to key up some natural distortion. Man, that sounded great after all this over saturated, digital sounding music lately.

The whole set was flawless. Oni was grooving and sang great. Robbie Crane was on bass, and Scott Coogan nailed it on the drums.

Smoke & Mirrors has some great music on it, and I'm really looking forward to the new Lynch Mob release.

George doesn't mindlessly drill trough scales while he plays. He is very creative and has great tone, phrasing, and skill. That is extremely rare in players these days.

Favorite screen name.

I've noticed he's been playing that tele a ton lately as well. It doesn't really blend with his style and looks a tad weak, being powder blue.

Who knows if he's asked to play it a lot and hopefully get people on the Tracii Guns/John 5 tele bandwagon.

I often ask why bother shooting a video as well, but they may believe that the original/older fan base still like music videos.

The band's not washed up until they can no longer tour. These guys play nice venues, small venues and festivals. Not bad for a band led by a guitarist who made his name with Dokken.

They rocked when I saw them a short while back.
