Vocalist
David Reece, formerly of German metallers
ACCEPT and currently of melodic rockers
BANGALORE CHOIR, was interviewed on the latest edition of
"Rich Davenport's Rock Show". The program can be streamed using the
Mixcloud player below. (Note: The
Reece interview begins around the 21-minute mark.)
BANGALORE CHOIR released its third album,
"Metaphor", on April 27 via
AOR Heaven. The group currently consists of original members
David Reece (vocals; ex-
ACCEPT),
Curtis Mitchell (guitar) and
Danny Greenberg (bass), alongside German guitarist/producer
Andy Susemihl and drummer
Rene Letters.
According to a press release,
"Metaphor" features some collaborative efforts as well.
David turned to old friends
Rikard Quist, who collaborated on the tracks
"Silhouettes On The Shade" and
"Scandinavian Rose" on the new CD and also worked with lyricist
Jon Wilde, with whom
David had shared songwriting credits on his
Reece-Kronlund release.

"Cadence", was released in September 2010 via
Metal Heaven Records.
BANGALORE CHOIR's
"On Target" LP was released via
Giant Records in 1992 — on the same day as
NIRVANA's
"Nevermind". Shortly after,
BANGALORE CHOIR disbanded after being released from the label.
After several years under the radar on a ranch in Montana,
Reece (ex-
ACCEPT,
DAREFORCE) was contacted by
Escape Records in 2007 to see what the chances would be for him to go to Sweden to sing on Swedish band
GYPSY ROSE's next release. Soon after that
David found himself in the studio for the next year recording and writing for the new
GYPSY ROSE CD,
"Another World", which was released in June 2008.
While touring and doing the
Sweden Rock Festival in June 2007 and opening for
AEROSMITH in Europe,
Reece regained his passion for music, deciding he wanted to put
BANGALORE CHOIR back together.
Reece reached out to guitarist
Curt Mitchell and bassist
Danny Greenberg and asked them if they would like to make a new record. Both of them eagerly accepted the challenge.
