MEGADETH: Behind-The-Scenes Footage From Lithuania Concert - June 27, 2012

MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson has uploaded a new eight-minute video clip featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the band's June 27 concert at Teatro Arena in Vilnius, Lithuania — including a pre-show search for some local coffee. Check it out below.

MEGADETH was among the nominees for the 54th annual Grammy Awards, which was held on February 12 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The band's tenth Grammy nomination was for its single "Public Enemy No. 1", off MEGADETH's latest album, "TH1RT3EN", which came out on November 1, 2011.

"Public Enemy No. 1" actually marked the second Grammy nomination for music from "TH1RT3EN", as the song "Sudden Death" was first unveiled in the 2010 video game "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" and received a "Best Metal Performance" nod.

One time...Pantera and Slayer at Copps in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. Smoked a big gagger with Tom Araya and I'm not much of a pot smoker but I had to. I'm sure people think I'm bullshitting but it happened. I know backstage is not as glamorous as people might think and I'm sure these rockers with walkers have toned it down since the 70's and 80's but that's the problem with internet and insant video. What I thought the backstage was like when I was 18 and what it's really like is sort of a buzz kill. It drives me crazy when people know the set list before the band even hits the stage. You already know what the stage looks like after the 1st city. I think metal and rock have lost a bit of edge in the lst few years.
