IRON MAIDEN, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, IN FLAMES, SABATON Honored At BANDIT ROCK AWARDS - Apr. 4, 2011

IN FLAMES, IRON MAIDEN, AVENGED SEVENFOLD and SABATON are among the artists who were honored at this past Saturday night's (April 2) Bandit Rock Awards at Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm, Sweden. The awards ceremony was organized and hosted by the Stockholm-based radio station Bandit Rock 106.3.

* Best Swedish Group: HARDCORE SUPERSTAR
* Best International Group: AVENGED SEVENFOLD
* Best Swedish Album: SABATON - "Coat Of Arms"
* Best International Album: VOLBEAT - "Beyond Hell/Above Heaven"
* Best Swedish Live Act: IN FLAMES
* Best International Live Act: IRON MAIDEN
* Swedish Breakthrough: SHERLOCK BROTHERS
* International Breakthrough: SICK PUPPIES
* Most Played Group: ROYAL REPUBLIC
* Festival: Getaway Rock Festival

DANKO JONES, PAIN and BULLET are among the artists that performed short sets at the event, which was broadcast live on the radio.

I've come to realize that you can't really give Iron Maiden too many awards, for the carreer they've had. TFF is w/o a doubt the finest record anyone's released this Century, with 1 or 2 maybe exceptions, i.e. rUSh S&A, Metal Church's This Present Wasteland, are my 3 fav's from this Century. Way to kick it up once again Mighty Mighty Iron Maiden !!!!! #1 in Heavy Metal since forever!@!
