MURDERDOLLS' JOEY JORDISON Throws His Guitar, Walks Off Stage In Bordeaux (Video) - Jan. 28, 2011
Several songs into last night's (Thursday, January 27) MURDERDOLLS concert in Bordeaux, France, the band's guitarist, Joey Jordison (who also plays drums for SLIPKNOT and ROB ZOMBIE), suddenly threw his guitar towards the drum set and walked off stage (see video below). The rest of the group finished the track before leaving the stage. The full band came back five minutes later, with singer Wednesday 13 apologizing to the crowd for "technical problems." But after another couple of numbers, Joey walked off stage a second time. After the song ended, the rest of the band left the stage again. They came back five minutes later, this time without Joey, stating that he wouldn't be back on stage but that the rest of the band would finish the show, apologizing once again for "technical issues" and asking the crowd for understanding. They played a few more songs as a four-piece band before exiting the stage one final time, leaving the audience surprised and frustrated.

MURDERDOLLS recently canceld its "Violent Night, Deadly Night" U.S. tour "due to an unforeseeable family emergency."

The band's sophomore album, "Women And Children Last", sold 8,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 43 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on August 31, 2010 via Roadrunner Records, the CD was recorded at a studio in Hollywood Hills, California with producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD).

MURDERDOLLS's current touring lineup is as follows:

* Wednesday 13 (WEDNESDAY 13, GUNFIRE 76, BOURBON CROW) - Lead Vocals
* Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT, ROB ZOMBIE) - Guitar, Backing Vocals
* Roman Surman (GUNFIRE 76, BOURBON CROW) - Guitar
* Racci Shay Hart (WEDNESDAY 13, DOPE, GENITORTURERS) - Drums
* Jack Tankersley (BULLETS AND OCTANE) - Bass

This was the planned setlist for the Bordeaux show (courtesy of France's Radio Metal):

I had my bass rig just cut out and it was dead for 1/2 a song. It's frustrating, but you can't just walk off like that.

I've had power outages mid-song that cut off my microphone during a live show and still continued singing into a dead mic until the tune was over. Your paying audience are there to see you rock, not throw a temper tantrum like a spoiled 5 year old child. And my band doesn't have 0.01 the name recognition that Joey's does. It's sad that I exhibit more professionalism than a guy who has sold millions of records.

I'm willing to bet "technical difficulties" weren't to blame. Maybe something is going on, Joey rocks I hope it's nothing to bad.

I don't think the soundman could care less if Joey does an Axl Rose or not. He still gets paid. The fans did pay, and they do care. The guy plays these songs every freaking night, so what if he can't hear himself in the monitors! Is he lost playing his own music? He even wrote most all of the parts himself. He's even playing easy guitar parts too, it's not like he's in a Ynqwie Malmsteen tribute band.

I really fail to see what Joey J contributes to Murderdolls, besides exposure.
Prettty much everything from the 1st record was old FDQ songs, which W13 wrote....yet somehow Joey gets writing credit?!
The new CD sounds pretty much Like W13 more recent solo stuff, to be honest if Wednesday had just done another W13 record, it would have probably been the exact same album....just with less publicity.

The band sounded exactly the same once Joey had his little hissy fit as they did before when he was posing at the front of the stage.

couple of questions:

1) Did you show up for soundcheck?
2) were you the headliner?

If you blew off the soundcheck, it's your fault. If you are the headliner, its your obligation to continue.

He's finally starting to lose it. Paul died in May, but 3 Slipknot members in particular have yet to take a break and deal with their loss. Joey especially. Maybe he's finally starting to crack.

Come to think of it, maybe this has something to do with why that December tour was cancelled.

The fans that were there.
The band that was left hanging.

Wednesday 13 for having to speak about this
and try to save face for the band and Joey

Wednesday will have to do all the explaining
if Joey doesn't man up.

Wednesday can play the guitar and sing
and I am sure would continue touring and honoring any gigs
if Joey doesn't come back.

This could be the end of the Murderdolls
sorry to Joey that they didnt get as big as he wanted and fast enough.

Hard to go from outdoor sheds to clubs huh joey

Can't wait for Wednesday 13 Solo Tour
It was also freaky to see Bad Things make the setlist.
I love that song.

Sorry to you trolls about this post but

And if someone in his family died, I can understand him.
Still he should finish the set, then cancel the rest of the tour eventually, but you have to respect your fans.

All this talk about Corey singing for VR combined with Corey making the statement that he doesn't know if slipknot is for him anymore and then Joey looking around at W13 and thinking, oh crap! This is my future, probably pissed him off.

Some people can be really harsh here, Tinnitus is an extremely painful thing to go through, as a nuse ive experienced alot of patients who suffer with this, and its is not simply just triggered by loud music, anything can set it off. I red a comment above that if he suffers from tinnitus why does he work with and in loud music/? well maybe the obvious answer is music is Joey's livelyhood and most importantly his career?!, he didnt want to let down his fans nor his bandmates by pulling out on the gig, and good on him for trying to soldier on
People should be more sympathetic rather than challenging, besides if any other person was to suffer from this highly irritating thing, it would be far more easy to 'pull a sicky' but poor Joey felt he has to carry on!, and to be honest Tinnitus is stupidly painful and somewhat irritating i too probably would have thrown my guitar across the stage!
Any,way Murderdools, you guys WERE ACE at the Lemon Grove, Exeter UK, was soo lucky to be right by the front :) looking foreward till you tour in UK again
xx
